Well, I’m back from doing the two-Demosthenian wedding I mentioned before. While I don’t think it’s quite right to talk about the couple from the blog, I do wish them a lifetime of happiness and must say it was a very well put-together affair.
Church-wise, some small notices. I attended Sunday worship at the hoary Christ Church, Frederica, on St. Simon’s Island, but the more memorable church encounter happened this morning on the way back to the airport in Savannah.
I found, stopped to see, and said my morning prayers at the “Smallest Church in America”, at South Newport. Glad to say the tiny building is unlocked, though the sand flies just about ate me alive.
