Another Christian Universalism blog

I’m sorry to say that a blog I just found seems to have gotten started, peaked, and effectively ended in August and September. But I’m glad it was written while it was written, and even if the entries aren’t new, they’re new to the person who reads them for the first time.

Also, I rather wish the author hadn’t called it “The Beautiful Heresy.” Universalism is, I believe, beautiful, but not heresy. A minority, yes, and also detested by many but there’s nothing per se heretical about Universalism. Because it tends to be a fellow-traveller with unorthodox religious (like Unitarians) and political opinions, it tends to get painted as such. So much more it the shame as it is all too easy to dismiss Universalism as something to write off as eccentric.

The Beautiful Heresy

The blog the author — “Brian” — does actively maintain promotes his African-American-oriented hair- and skincare sales business. If you’re in the market . . . .

  1. Just wanted to let you know my blog is being resurrected. I did have to take some time off because of being too busy. But, I’m going to try to keep it going. I’ve moved it to TypePad. The new URL is: http://christian-universalism.blogs.com

The name of the blog is tongue-in-cheek. Of course, I don’t consider universalism a heresy. Does anyone consider himself to be a heretic. But, if I am a heretic (as Carlton Pearson has been declared), I wear the label proudly. Jesus was killed for being a “heretic”.

Thanks for acknowledging my blog. I hope to be able to say more there soon.
