Technorati-nating blogs

Technorati is one of those so-called Web 2.0 services that adds value to information by — in essence — indexing the web. But it does it well if content providers, like bloggers, tag their information. This brief post is about tagging information.
I realize I’m feeling my way through the dark, and I consider myself relatively tech savvy, at least for a minister. But here I get lazy because WordPress, which powers this blog, makes the categories I use the tags for the posts. Voila!

Not such good news if, like a lot of bloggers, you use Blogger. Unless you make the tag yourself. Say you wanted to let the world know that this article is about universalism. Also that should be html not xhtml; WordPress makes showing an example on the fly not-so-easy. Oh, and a < -/-a-> with the dashes removed at the end. Jeesh. Perhaps you should just mouse-over the live link below.)

< a rel="tag" xhref="http://technorati.com/tag/universalism" mce_href="http://technorati.com/tag/universalism" >universalism
