I’ve heard of churches being made into homes, but what do you do with a spire? If it is the privately-owned spire belonging to Christopher Wren’s Christ Church in the City of London — the rest of the church was destroyed in the Second World War; I once ate a sandwich in the garden that now takes its place –Â you can make an apartment of it, with eleven tiny floors. Fascinating.
