I think that, at minimum, rank and file Unitarian Universalists should talk about how good it is when new congregations are admitted to the Association. Until we speak and think of new congregations as a normal, positive and ordinary occasion, we can’t expect to grow. Yet this kind of news is not as easy to get as it ought to be.
So I was so happy to see notice of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas being admitted to the UUA at the bottom of today’s eventful and newsy UUWorld article, “Board shifts funding priorities for theological education.”
