A little hack to use already-printed paper again.
Like a lot of people, I use the back sides of one-sized printouts — even when you print duplex, odd-numbered documents are going to have at least one “onesie” — to take notes, scrawl thoughts and compose drafts.
Like a lot of people, I used a binder clip to keep these together.
A couple of days ago, I tried something new. I took a stack of reusable paper, blank side up. Used three small binder clips along the long side and then removed the metal “wings.” (I stash them in my paper clip box.) It reminds me of a coverless version of the thesis binder I liked so much.
I’m thinking about using a damaged hanging file folder — as their metal hanging arms will eventually pull them apart — to make a cover.
