Glad to see the Buddhist, Shinto and New Religious Movements representatives from Japan greeted in Plenary II. But where were the Japanese Universalists? I know they’re small, but were they invited?

A particularly sore point, since the ICUU members were described as Unitarians.
Regretable treatment of the Japanese Universalists, I believe YET AGAIN. But there seems to be a history of shabby (or at least insensitive) treatment from American UU’s over the last few decades. At one point since 1970, weren’t the Doojin Christians mocked at a conference for being “too Christian”?
And Dr. Gene Reeves, former dean at Meadville, lives in Tokyo and collaborates with the Tokyo Unitarian fellowship there and with Rissho Kosei-Kai.
Who are the “NRM representatives”?
