A word about my process. A couple of weeks ago, a Day Job colleague pointed out a very handy tool that I've begun to use: Google Notebook. When installed in your browser -- Firefox 1.5 or better for Linux or Windows or IE6 for Windows, but why would you?; sorry Mac users -- it allows you to select a passage from a Web page and save it -- links and all -- into your Google account. (And you do have one of these, right?)
You can even annotate the clipping -- to note a hat tip, for instance --Â which makes it really handy for blogging or collecting details for a project. No more scraps of paper or little files with your notes on them. You can also use it to collaborate or you may make your notebook public: a retro kind of blog?
