  1. Yes, your blog and my blog use XFN, which according to the Wikipedia article you cite is a microformat.

    Aside from that, I’ll wait to see what Firefox actually supports before I code for it. Going through the hundreds of pages of the two Web sites I maintain to add microformat tags will take a lot of time, and I don’t want to bother adding microformat tags that basically do nothing (like XFN).

  2. I bet a location tag for anything with a physical location — like a church — will be worthwhile. Guessing either Google Maps will pick up the info or you can browse to a maps site (like Google again) to get directions.

    Ditto the event microformat.

    I’ve installed a microformat plugin for WordPress on this blog, but haven’t tried it yet.

    I’m also pondering the use of resume tags for ministerial packets.

    Presumably, Moveable Type, Drupal, and other blogging and CMS software have something equivalent….
