I got paid today. I looked at my bills and expenses. I thought about my options. I made a decision.
I just made a payment to retire my student debt. Done. Gone. A part of which dates to 1989. Over.
Oh, and I also bought something nifty today. (With cash, of course.) More about that tomorrow.
That’s awesome! Rock on! Being out of debt is the only way to go… paying for something… especially a big something… with cash is empowering. (At least, it is to me.)
Congratulations! That’s terrific news!
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Certainly, a burden lifted!
MAZEL TOV!! (she said with a certain envy, but certainly not jealousy) What a thrilling moment!! I hope to join you in umpteen years!! At which point I will fly down to DC and buy us both a fabulous meal. No, wait. Strike that. We’re both losing weight that we want to keep off. Okay… we’ll go SHOE SHOPPING for me and techno-gadget shopping for you! Or there’s always the bookstore at that seminary in Virginia…
Belated (I’ve been under the most major work deadline I’ve had in roughly 22 years of being employed) congratulations! I know that’s got to feel incredibly good. 🙂
