I’ve been thinking perhaps our market closes at noon, but it begins emptying much sooner (of people and produce).
It probably shouldn’t be, but it’s strangely comforting to know that UU’s are just like most religious denominations out there in this aspect. I’ve seen more and more of that sentiment among many folks our age… especially the ones that are unmarried and/or without children (like myself). I don’t count myself in that group at this point, but I’ve definitely been there in the past. (Maybe it’s because my farmers’ market is on Saturday…)
That’s a great post by Ms. Theologian. I especially agree with the “petty dysfunctional shit” line. Those three words can describe a lot of the problems churches face…
