The Liberal Christian seeks submissions

I am looking for article submissions for the second and third issues of The Liberal Christian, the online magazine I edit.

Issue two will lean to what liberal Christians can offer a partnership with non-Christian liberal religionists, with a secondary focus on Easter practices.

Issue three will lean towards Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly issues, with a secondary focus on governance generally, and Pentecost.

Submissions are best made by email (editor@liberalchristian.net). Articles published in The Liberal Christian must be licensed under the unported Creative Commons by-nc-sa license; details here.

Thanks.

  1. Is there a deadline? I have an idea of something to write as a unitarian Disciples of Christ seminarian. I’m thinking of Jewish Christian relations and the language we use (ie as in the right wing are pharisees, Jesus introduced a loving God into the world, etc. views which find their way into UU as well as non UU contexts). The Easter and Good Friday stories always have had that tension in relation to Judaism and figured if the deadline has not passed I’d contribute somethin.

  2. @Dwight. I’d like any submissions in by April 10, but I can push it back a couple of days if I know it’s coming and about how large it is. Thanks for asking.
